Background jazz in a restaurant, rock playing in a bar, music coming from a radio, club, store, vehicle, or other environment within a scene. In some productions, creating custom material with AI assistance may provide a practical alternative to licensing existing recordings while still allowing the music to be shaped specifically for the project.

AI-assisted tools can be useful for exploring arrangements, instrumentation, stylistic directions, or variations before developing the final music through a more traditional composition and production process.

Tight Budgets & Schedules
For projects with unusually tight budgets or schedules, hybrid techniques can provide additional production flexibility while keeping the composer's creative direction, editing, arrangement, orchestration, performance, and final decision-making at the center of the work.
The appropriate workflow will always depend on the project. Some music is best created entirely through traditional composition and production; other situations may benefit from selectively incorporating emerging tools.
